"Car is MG Midget 1977 1500 ; all original. Manual gearbox. Cannot shift into next gear. To get it to shift for instance into 2nd gear from first gear gear while running, , you have to move the gear lever to neutral while depressing the clutch pedal, then release the clutch pedal, step on it again and then move the gear lever into the next gear. Could clutch problem as well..."
