"Red alternator warning light comes on at different occasions. Sometimes goes off when you're driving. Other times it stays on. Most occurrences are when it is really hot during the day. Went to battery center to check whether it charges (while this red indicator light is on). Everything seems okay and charges at sufficient volts etc. Nothing wrong according to them. Car always starts as normal. No indication as to power loss of vehicle. No other power problems (radio, steering etc) New car battery was replaced a year ago. Specs are better than previous old battery. Sometimes on the dashboard it says low battery key charge. Had this replaced a few months ago too. This issue was resolved, however. Just mentioning some extra information. Could it maybe the center electronics module instead of the alternator?"
