"What I received from another company: “ Kindly find attached quotation as requested. Technician found no compression on engine, caused by water bottle pipe that was broken, causing vehicle to overheat and damage the head gasket. We will need to remove the cylinder head and send to engineering to inspect, the engineering company will have to come and measure sleeves and refit cylinder head if all is okay.” Might I add - their one service technician came to look at the car and said it doesn’t look too bad."
