"Hi, the EPS light on my vehicle comes on and stays on at times when driving at slow speeds or starting the vehicle. When it does stay on, the steering wheel gets very stiff and I'm almost unable to turn it. Also, sometimes the EPS light stays on and the vehicle doesn't start at all. I have to keep turning the key in the ignition before it eventually does start. The car also switches off at times in slow traffic and the EPS light stays on. I took it to a Kwif Fit centre and they said that the steering rack needs to be unmounted, repaired and mounted again which is 3 days job. I'm not sure about this. Any help and cost would be appreciated."
