"My 2011 FL2 SD4 recently (2 months or so) developed a rather quiet "chafing" or "rubbing" sound coming from the rear central area. The car is still driving normally, and no noticeable change in performance, for now. Took it to RDG a week ago, and they provisionally confirmed, after test drive, that it sounds like the pinion bearings. RDG didnt have the parts at the time. They quoted on labour though. I need a LR specialist to please quote me on parts and labour, and an indication on how long the job will take. Thanks"
