Catalytic Converter Replacement
"We thought the turbo had packed up when my car suddenly lost power a few weeks ago but as long as I kept the revs to under 3000rpm, I could drive. Today the 'Check engine' light only came on and when I checked the manual, it said there's a fault with the catalytic converter so I need a replacement please."

"At times, engine is running and idling fine. Ever so often car will start smoking (seems like feul type smoke), fuel consumption then increases and then when car is idling, it will idle at 1500 - 2500 rpm at times. But then, at times, when you force down the idling by means of applying handbrake and releasing the clutch slowly, idling will return to normal sometimes. This you might have to do often while in traffic."
