Clutch Replacement
"The car cannot be driven at the moment. I think the clutch has now finally packed up. I had a tyre burst incident around 5 June on the R21 en route to OR Tambo airport. My tyre burst and in the incident I damaged the clutch in trying to keep the car on the road. I took it to VW and they said the clutch had burnt badly, damaging the flywheel as well. After the incident, there was a shudder when pulling away in 1st gear at low revs. Last Monday evening the clutch failed and I couldn't move the car. I had to tow the car home."
