"bearing sound when idling in neutral and sound goes away if i push the clutch in. I have replaced clutch kit also with new thrust bearing no difference , the sound is in the gearbox. It drives and changes gears no problems. I did find they let the gearbox run low on oil (down to 200 ml) with a leak but thats fixed now . This perhaps caused bearing damage in the gearbox. Ive removed and stripped the gearbox Whats the cost to replace the gearbox bearings ?"

My Car Won't Start
"Could not enter my actual address so just chose any address. I live in Lansdowne, Cape Town. Checked my oil 3 weeks ago and it was fine. Two weeks ago engine light came on and I thought it was just fuel injectors which must be cleaned (past issue that arose ) Car was missing as well. So I bought injector cleaner but missing occurred after car was switched on but would come and go. Engine light was also flashing intermittently. On day when trouble started petrol light came on and I was driving and then smells came in car like gas and then car switched off at robot. Tried to start car and all this smoke with smells came from exhaust thought car was gonna catch a light. Tried to start again realised must just be petrol. Got to garage and put in petrol and eventually car started but lots of smoke and smells and error message appeared that fuel injector must be checked. Threw in more injector cleaner and error message disappeared. Smoking subsided but went back to normal following morning. I then decided to check oil and then saw dipstick had very to almost no oil on. Left car after checking oil and did not drive it. Then bought oil and then topped up. Also threw in lots of water in side container by radiator. Topped it up, probably too much water. Tried to start car but it was only swinging. Noticed some new oil I threw in was leaking from bottom as well as some water was dripping. Car not starting. Been told turbo cause of unusual oil consumption. Me throwing in water for car cause loss of compression. Please assist"
