"Left rear brake pad metal on metal. Purchased the Ferodo brake pads from Midas in Centurion but the car needs its full service anyway. Parts of the front suspension were replaced @ 185000km’s because wheel alignment could not be done until parts where replaced. Car has not be involved in an accident but I did not purchase it new, I bought it in 2011 and have maintained the car with regular services @ 15000km. Runs well but heavy fuel consumption in town(above normal). Gearbox was replaced entirety in 2011 with 78000km on the clock. Has never missed a beat since"

"The outer pulley belt needs to be replaced (cam belt was replaced at 240000km’s. Car engine warning on dash comes up with anti pollution warning. The car feels like it is running on 3 cylinders. Had the car since new and has never missed a beat. Car needs a full service 270000km’s. Probably needs a new exhaust and can throw away the catalytic converter if necessary but I would not like to replace it if I don’t have to."

"The bearing that supports the right hand side drive shaft due to its length has failed for the 3rd time. The outer wheel bearing in the right front was replaced at 100000km’s. Had the car since new and never been involved in an accident. The shaft itself must be out of round or either end of the shaft is not secure as it should which then put excessive force on the bearing. We need the bearing replaced but not sure what else in order to overcome the consistent failure of the bearing. It needs its 120000km service too. Thanks"
