"My steering wheel kept locking but would come loose with a bit of gentle wiggling and turning the steering wheel at the same time. Now however after lending my car to a friend it is locked and will not unlock anymore resulting in me not being able to drive my car. I dont know if it is the ignition that needs replacing or something else but I'm assuming this is the case. how much does something like this cost to replace and how long a job is it? I would really like to drive my car again as soon as possible. It is also an old car so i cant afford to spend a fortune on it. With thanks, Simone"

"I was driving and the car wouldnt shift into gear, i.got it into second gear and drove to a safe place to pull over. There was a burnt clutch smell. When car is in nuetral there is no sound, but when you press clutch while idling, there a high pitch screatching sound. The car has been a bit difficult with shifting into gear the past few weeks and reverse gear almost always grinds before shifting into gear."
