I took my car there before the 10th September 2020 based on a quote of R3500 they gave me, then I was told it will be R 7000 telephonically and then it went up to R 22500 and now it stands at R23500... The worst part is that my car is still there and when I tried to take it to another mechanic, they refuse to release it saying I must pay a full amount while the car is still not repaired... I am now left with having to contact the police to fetch my car, they threghten to sue me for storage cost even though they are the ones who have been keeping the car to repair it but up to today it's still not repaired....I am promised a car every week but every time the story changes yet these guys refuses to release the car.... I won't recommend these guys to anyone... I saw a review of professional service from a person whose name is similar to the owner.. So don't be fooled guys

I had a problem with my car which was mixing oil and water also overheating from time to time.My experience with this company was so bad that I am really pissed cause i booked my car in for repairs. It took the mechanics 4 days to fix the car but cut the story short . I took my car once they confirmed it was done . Travelling to the eastern Cape the car started to overheat again despite it being fixed. The car has relapsed leading to more damages to the engine. When I informed the owner he refuses to take responsibility and ignoring my calls when I asked for a refund.

I had to delete my previous positive review on French Auto Junction to my most utter disgust. When my husband left the shop, Peter, the owner, told my husband that the ABS light will go off on it's own- it was on after they worked on the car. In December we drove to Cape Town from Johannesburg. On our way back we started hearing funny sounds at the wheel. To cut along story short, the mechanic we took the car to after the trip, asked my husband immediately if the clutch was replaced. In the end what happened is that Peter and his team at French Auto Junction never tightened the bolts properly and it started coming out and dropping the engine. We could have had an emormous ugly accident. The ABS light also never went off by itself and the reason was that French Auto Junction cut the wire when replacing the clutch. So Peter lied straight to my husband's face when he said that the light will reset by itself. On top of the cost at French Auto Junction, this whole thing cost us an extra R8500 to fix. Peter agreed to pay us at least R3000 - we are still waiting. I do not recommend French Auto Junction anymore. I don't even know if they are qualified mechanics and will be contacting the RMI now.

I took my car at French auto junction, firstly the atmosphere there is so welcoming. my car was a non starter and they fixed it , and now i take my car there to be serviced . you guys should take your cars to French auto junction those guys know what they are doing.
