Engine light flashes then loss of power, then engine light remains on and then have full power, fuel consumption has gone ip to 12L/100km from normal 6.4L/100km. On long distances when the car is hot the engine then all of a sudden revs full with a big puff of smoke from the exhaust. Car then reduces back to normal and fuel consumption reduces then back down to 6/7L/100km.
