, I am in need of a repair on my car. It broke down about 2 months ago. And I haven't had enough money to afford to tow it anywhere.. I know that it is a compression issue as I have has a few people look at the car but no quote or end result was able to be given. I would like to ask about getting a rough quote (even if I have to bring the car in) on how much a standard fee is for looking for the problem, and the hourly rates as well as of you have any idea how much it is in, price range wise, to fix a compression issue, apparently as per my brother a few of the cylinders have no compression. There is petrol and a spark from the engine but when it tries starting there's nothing. Also there was smoke coming out of my air vents. It was thin smoke but it was constant and it was happening before the car broke down.
