The engine light always stays on, but the traction control light will come on at random intervals and when that happens the engine light will begin to flash and I will lose the majority of power to my car. While this used to happen and then simply revert to normal, it hasn't switched off for a period of time now. I'm struggling to make ends meet as is, and I can't afford to have the problem checked at VW, so I'm looking for quotes less than R400, because that's basically all I can afford.
