Every time I start braking slowly there is this knocking sound. I'm not sure if it is the brakes? It makes this knocking sound from the moment I start braking until I come to a full stop. It does not make the knocking sound when the car is in reverse and I start braking. Please help with what the problem might be and an estimate of what it will cost to replace/repair the problem.
