I have a heating problem on this car. Heat gauge goes up, especially in traffic, but comes down quick. Two weeks ago, I drove to Midrand and as soon as I got to my destination, the heat gauge went into red and I stopped. Stupid me, when I checked the water level that morning, I never put the cap of the water bottle back, I found the cap though. After cooling off and refilling the water bottle, I manage to get back to Montana, with no incident. The problem with heating started again about 7 days later and I don't use the car now. I checked for water in the oil, water pipes that might be perished etc, nothing. Unfortunately I have to rely on myself to get this car running with no problems and being a 65 yr old pensioner lady, that is not easy. I need 'n quote to test the heat sensor, thermostat and/or the water pump. I do hear a 'grinding' sound in the morning when starting the car, but that sound goes away, once the car is a bit heated up. Hope to hear from someone soon Regards Alta 076 329 9532
