My cambelt broke 3 weeks back. The mechanic who replaced it found that 2 valves and 3 rockers were also bent. He replaced all this, without sending the cylinder the cylinder to the engineers. The car then ran but it was missing on cylinders 1 & 2. I then had another mechanic looking at it abd he send the cylinder to the engineers. It cost me R700 to have the valves' height set and R1180 to have new guides installed (according to him). He also replaced my pistons rings because accordi2nd to him the compression is too low. After all this exercise the car still misses on cylinders 1&2. He now claims that it might be the rockers and lifters. I've spend R6000 already and don't know what else to do.
