- The steering intermittently goes hard i.e. a loss of power steering, once the car is turned off and restarted it goes away but does come back again . However this issue goes away when switching off the stop start function. The battery was replaced recently with one that has a slightly lower amp hour reading than the factory battery. I have had a diagnostic done and these are the fault codes: C0074 C1002 C100C Please let me have a quote to repair Thanks Shaun
