FRAUDSTER!!!!- Please be careful. He has stolen R 8400 and did not do any work. He kept my car outside the complex where he stayed. I am logging a civil and criminal case against him. He is currently residing at Room 17, Semillon Terraces, Carmine Drive, Burgundy Estate, Cape Town. I have been following many times with him and his wife to repay the money. If anyone interested to share your proof of the incidents against you , i am happy to attache the proof with the legal so that it will be strong case and make sure this guy will taken legally .

This service of this mechanic is poor. My Polo Tsi has been by him almost for 6months now, and up until today he is just spinning me all sorts of stories. To be honest I don't trust this David Eybers mechanic anymore because of how he operates, he just ignores my calls and if I do ask about my vehicle then there's different sorts of stories of which I don't believe anymore. I wish there is a place where I can report this man.

FRAUDSTER ALERT!! This an alert to anyone who wants to take their vehicle for a service or repairs to a Mr David Eybers the owner of D E Car Services. He charges for work/parts not carried out on vehicles. Sent in my work vehicle, a Mitsubishi Colt 3L V6 in for a service & problems arose since. He suggested replacing the cambelt during service. I accepted & told him to go ahead. Retrieved my vehicle once he completed the service. While driving the vehicle for work the crank pulley came off and damaged the crank pulley, crankshaft, cambelt sprocket & valves. I towed the vehicle back to David`s workshop on the 31st of March 2021. His response was it`s a common problem on these vehicles. (Apparently) I asked him to please go ahead & repair it as I need it for work. I chased after him for 2 months to finish the vehicle. His excuse was the engine head and crankshaft was still at engineering. In this period of 2 months I had to use my private vehicle for work which was getting damaged as it is not built for construction work. When he eventually finished my Mitsubishi, I picked it up & drove for about 10km & a different pulley came off & the crank pulley was also wobbling. Then I towed it to a different mechanic. He confirmed to my surprise none of the parts were sent to engineering. He didn`t even take out the crankshaft. The bill to redo the engine came to R36,480.00! David apologised & promised to settle the bill. I chased after him for payment. He eventually paid R5000.00 in 2021. We came to an agreement that he could pay it off. Havent received a cent since we made the agreement in 2021. Since then it has been and endless chase to get the money out of David. Empty promises, lies & excuses. Ignoring me at different periods of the last 18 & a half months. The mechanic will not release my Mitsubishi till he gets his full payment from him & David is not the least bit concerned. I have been very patient but I can`t handle the lies & the ignoring games he keeps playing. I need my Mitsubishi back! Who else has he been doing this to without them knowing! I am now going ahead & opening a case of fraud.

David was great! He was the first to send me a quote, beat all the others on price and replaced my Kia's clutch with minimal fuss. I am super happy with the result. He went out of his way to make the process as smooth as possible. I will highly recommend his service!
