In my personal experience, he is completely untrustworthy and dangerously unqualified to work on any vehicle. I dealt with serious issues due to his incompetence, and instead of taking responsibility, he became defensive and aggressive. This is not just about poor workmanship it's about dishonesty, lack of accountability, and putting customers at risk. There are many other skilled, certified mechanics out there who actually know what they’re doing and treat customers with respect. Russel is not one of them. This review is posted as a public warning. Protect your time, money, and safety stay far away from Russel.

DN Auto in Port Elizabeth/ Qgeberha what a Nightmare experience with this company After taking this company to the Ombudsmun for poor workmanship on my engine overhaul which I paid for, the case was thrown out due to a technicality of me having a part replaced by a different mechanic as I simply could not keep sending my vehicle back to this business (vehicle sent back numerous,numerous times even after mediation at RMI) All I have recieved are shoulders shrugged,a bunch of lies & more excuses and owner accusing me of being "an unhappy individual" and attempting to manipulate the situation further saying that he gave freebies etc etc.The entire point is that the job paid for (Engine Overhaul) was NOT properly done and this has been confirmed by 3 other reputable mechanics.Run for the hills I would not take any vehicle back here if you paid me to thanks.And when you put up a fuss or fight for a large sum money taken...simply a bunch of lies and more manipulation put up to decieve those on social media. Zero accountablility from this "Christian" Simply lie after lie even on social media claiming Ombudsman agreed with him...I am most willing to back it up with 3 reputable mechanics diagnostics and report not to mention the Ombudsman email to say I can no longer claim because I replaced a part with a different mechanic out of desperation, not knowing it would affect my case.I am sure he will respond here too with the next false story or lie or manipulation tactics.Really and truly sad for I gave them so many opportunities to rectify and this was not only not done but zero accountability on his part and zero concience on taking R20 000 for it.This is not service it is dishonest practice and they are simply getting away with it. Money taken for a job that was NOT done properly.Good luck to the next person who gets done in this way while I have to go to a new mechanic and pay for this entire job to be done again after DN Auto happily kept the money for a service NOT fully provided/completed.David dont bother with the next entertaining story spun in your favour for social media purposes .Wrong is wrong
