"on tuesday while driving home, the oil light came on and was beeping, the rev counter went to zero (while driving). the indicators were not working as well. i managed to drive it home. waited a while, then restarted but it did not want to start. the alarm system also does not work now. a mechanic took it in on wednesday thinking its a mechanical fault (oil pump and oil pickup) but he said that he wants to get the auto electrician to check it first. the electrician checked and said its faulty wiring on the alarm and he said that he sorted it out. thursday the mechanic drops the car off and says that he drove it around (with his battery in, i dont know why) and said the car goes fine. thursday evening i attempt to go to the garage and it does the same thing - oil light, beeping, rev counter, no indicators. i managed to drive it home and then tried starting it again but no luck. the mechanic just picked up the car now with the electrician. i have no idea if they can sort this problem out. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
